Engineered wood choices
Available choices in engineered wood flooring include just about any species of your choice. Quarter sawn wood is also available, as well as patterns like herringbone or parquet.
Plank widths go up to 11″ face and 6′ to 12′ in length. Mixed width planks can also be accommodated.

Strengths of engineered wood
Engineered flooring is a resawn solid wood, made into a 3/16″ veneer which is then laminated onto a Baltic birch plywood, a process that adds stability and strength to the finished floor. This engineered stability is perfect for applications where unusual stress may be placed on the wood, such as in a basement over a concrete foundation.
Maintaining an engineered wood floor
Nothing is easier to maintain. Simply sweeping or vacuuming is all you will need to do. It’s also fine to use a damp mop on the floor – but only damp. Avoid soaking an engineered wood floor, as you would with any wood floor. And you should also avoid oil soaps or ammonia-based cleaners. With a minimum of care, your engineered wood floor will give years of durable service.
